- The usb hd should have come with an installation cd. It should be auto detected on the usb bus and you should have had to install drivers. After that was done you could rt click on the usb drive under my computer. In the properties section you will have the format option. Follow the prompts and you should be done. E-mail me @ jimbob379@yahoo.com and I will help you from there if this doesn't work.
- You have a serious problem, most likely due to malware. There is a possibility, however, that the person who loaded your operating system did not know what he or she was doing and put your operating system on a part of the hard drive, and did not format the rest of it, so it shows up as a single partition. Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer management and that will tell you if that is the case because it will show your Windows partition has only a fraction of the 80 gig total hard drive capacity. Remember , tho, if it shows 74gig, that doesnt mean that you have a 74 and a 6 gig partition, it just means that you never have 80 gig available with an 80 gig hard drive, because the system uses a lot of it.
- its easy e mail me tom90712@yahoo.com,i will go over it with you ok?
