Mobile Partitions

Need help with downloading yellow dog software 6 on to ps3.?

I started to download it on to my HDD, but tried to "jump the gun" by skipping some steps to get it done faster. I was wondering if anyone can help. Here are all of the steps that i have done: 1)Download Yellow Dog 6 2)Burned the .iso image to a dvd-r blank disc 3)Backed up my ps3 HDD on to my portable hard drive/restarted ps3 4)Partitioned HDD for 10GB to "otheros" 5)Clicked on install other os 6)Booted up Yellow Dow, and started to install it, but at the bootloader screen it has a lot of stuff, but at the bottom it says "kboot" I read to type in "anaconda" after kboot but it did not do anything but but say that it was invalid and go back to kboot. My main question that i am asking is: Can i somehow go back to the ps3 software to restart the process or is there a way i can fix something wrong that i did?
