whats the best insulation to use on my bedroom partition wall. any ideas?
due to condensation build up i stripped wallpaper and painted the wall, which is always cold as the other side of partition faces the elements of the roof (its an old converted property built with no felt under roof tiles ..hence the wall being exposed to draughts). wasnt sure if i could use the same insulatuion as used for laying normal loft insulation..any help appreciated

- The best thing to do would be to insulate the roof, not the partition. You can buy slab insulation which fits between the roof joists, and easy to install. I am aware that the roof felt should be fixed under the tile batten, but as you cannot do that, without removing all the tiles, I would suggest as the next best thing, Once you have fitted the roof insulation you could then fix the felt inside the roof, this would prevent any more draughts, and so you should be a lot warmer
- you can also look into spray foam insulation - contact a contractor to come and give you a price - most you can lose is the hour it takes for the pricing
