How do I get keys cut for my internal office doors?

I've just moved into a small partitioned office with 2 internal doors. They have separate locks and I've been told by building management it would cost $25 plus $15 postage and handling for new keys. If I provide a proper locksmith shop with the lock numbers of each door, can they just make me a set? If so, how do they know I'm not just some robber?

Unless this amount was stipulated before hand, and you are paying $ for use of the office, they have to give you access to the office (i.e. first set of keys no charge) Take the key and have it duplicated……if it as “do not duplicate” on it buy a pack of those colored plastic key jackets ……. it will cover that do not duplicate.
