My caller ID said 'US government'. what office could this call be coming from?

I have a child care center and this lady was calling asking weird questions like; how high are the partitions in the building, noise levels and tuition. I was suspicious.

Public Comments

1. When the post office calls it says US goverment...so who knows. Probably codes, or someone from the education department or who ever over sees childcare stuff
2. It's the CIA, they're spying on your child care center.
3. Could be anyone but if I were you and had someone call asking about my child's day care, I would be on the phone to the day care center ASAP
4. Obama's calling you. he's gonna put you in the draft and bring you over seas to get yourself killed. good luck.
5. It could be a government office like, child welfare. Or it could be a parent who works as a secretary for a government agency. You could always say that they should stop by for a visit, but only let them in with proper government ID.
