But I wanted to know if it has enough memory and stuff. If not how much should I get? whats a good range for the things I should be looking for ram and other stuff. I use it for internet stuff youtube, yahoo, facebook, myspace ect.I'm a teen :P and Homework but who cares about that :) I also play a few computer games when I'm bored like on websites like Miniclip and addictinggames. If you can let me know if this is good for me? (Selena Gomez) has the same thing!

  1. It looks like an OK computer for the things you want to do with it (Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, etc)... ...it all depends on your budget. But if you are really looking for a computer for an "Artist", you should really consider Mac.
  2. Hello Again! =] Hope your good!! Right, to answer your question, i think i'll go the other route this time, as i know what you want to do with it: Your a teen (as am i..!), so you'll be visiting a lot of social networking sites (like you've said), and instant messaging.. things like that. The reason this notebook is good, is because it has the WiFi, so you'll be able to (providing you have a wireless router that allows you to connect to the internet wirelessly) connect to the internet anywhere around the house. So if you want to check your emails or facebook etc. on the breakfast table in the morning, you can do that, if your feeling cold and want to sit up in bed whilst chatting on facebook, you can.. thats the beauty of WiFi. - Also, you have a built in Webcam and Microphone, so if you wanted to go onto Video Call (on Windows live messenger), you dont have to buy any extra equipment, as it's all there. In terms of homework, i'm guessing you'll need to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, that range of software? - This laptop comes with Microsoft Office 2007 student edition (i.e. Word, Powerpoint.. etc.) which has been designed specifically for student like you and me. This means that all your homework can be done on your laptop.. - So you have that covered too. In terms of computer games, it has a very capable graphics card, that will not stop you playing computer games on miniclip. You'd have problems if you were buying very video insensive games.. But by the sounds of things, you wont be doing that, so it's OK... You'll be able to play all your games. As I said in your previous question, you've got a dual-core processor which means you can do things simultaneously without feeling that the computer is slowing down. Also, the RAM will allow you to have several programs running without there being a lag.. (i.e. computer taking time to process a command..). You've also got the bluetooth, so that you can connect your phone to your laptop and transfer any pictures or video's from your phone onto your laptop, and you have a 250GB hard drive, which will allow you to store loads of songs, have loads of movies in high DVD quality AND have many programs installed.. without any problems! You've also got a lot of pre-installed programs too, like the DVD suite.. Which is just a nice thing to be able to use.. =] With that DVD suite, you have a DVD Re-Writer, so you can rewrite music CD's/Movie DVD's etc.. at quite quick speeds too.. Another nice thing is that memory card reader. It'll mean that you'll be able to take that memory card out of your phone/camera and load/unload any pictures/songs/movies onto the card much more quickly than if you had a Bluetooth connection or connected via wire. Also you have a lot of ports there, so if you needed to connect anything (like a USB device), you'll be able to. A years warrenty is good, because it means if there is anything wrong with the laptop.. it'll probably show within that year! - It's weight is nice too. I've got a Lenovo Thinkpad T60, and i travel a lot. With that kinda weight, you wont feel that your legs are about to drop off.. It'll feel quite light to carry and hold etc. Again, it's a very good laptop! And the Artist Design that goes with it is quite cool too.. I'm guessing thats why Selena Gomez uses it. =] Hope i've helped..
