my portable hard drive has 2 partitions, how do i remove the partitions and move exisitng files?

1. Use Vista's built in partition manager to remove the unwanted partition and expand the smaller one. This is how to access the Disk Management tool in Vista and how to use it: http://www.vistarewired.com/2007/02/16/how-to-resize-a-partition-in-windows-vista If you don't have Vista, Gparted or EASUS Partition Manager should also do the trick. BEFORE deleting a partition make sure you back up those files, or you will lose them.
