Mobile Partitions

I want to make a copy of a partition on my portable hard drive...?

I have an Acer Aspire One and a Portable hard Drive. I want to be able to copy the EXACT partition on my portable hard drive, and then if need be, copy the partition back onto my built-in hard drive, with the EXACT same bootability mode, like on startup where if i press f10, it will launch into recovery option. I want it to be Exactly Like my old hard drive.

1. You can use a GParted Live CD (Free from their site) to copy partitons from one Drive to another and it will copy all the data so that the partitions are exactly identical.
