Using Mobile Partitions for Added Privacy

Having a large space in your office creates flexibility and convenience. There is plenty of space for everyone and everything, and studies show that large open spaces help facilitate communication and workflow in the office. There are times, however, when you need a smaller, private space, perhaps for one-on-one meetings or to help people get quiet work done.
Flexible and simple
Mobile partitions are amazingly flexible devices. Their very name implies this. They are capable of being moved where you need them to create temporary spaces of nearly any size. In some offices, the partitions are attached to tracks built into the floor and ceiling. This may limit where you use them but does make deploying them very easy.
Easy to use
Other partitions are totally portable. They are often on carts or wheels, allowing them to be easily moved and set up in any location. For additional privacy, some stretch from floor to ceiling, blocking out noise and inquiring ears. The panels of the partitions are made of sound-absorbent material that is lightweight yet sturdy. These panels fold accordion-style to aid in easy setup and take down.
Large or small
Partitions can be used anywhere people seek privacy. You may have noticed them in large hotel ballrooms, where they are used to divide very large spaces into more manageable ones. These models are fixed to ceilings and walls and are pulled out like a shade to cover the desired area.
When designing a new office space, consider leaving room for mobile partitions. They are a valuable addition, giving you control of space configuration and privacy with maximum flexibility.
